Howls in new format.

I would like to
start this column with a "Hello" to some very special friends of mine,
the members of the Wolf Club, John, Jamin, Marcus, Jake, Luke, and
David. John and Marcus came up to see and got some photographs with me
last October.
The club came back up a couple of weeks ago and brought Dad a wolf photo binder with some pictures of me in it. Dad will probably add some more that have been sent from visitors from all over the world. Thanks for visiting guys and thanks for the binder. We are sharing it with everyone. I would also like to thank each and every one who has brought me presents and made donations to me this past year. Your support has been greatly appreciated. For those who are interested, Dad is foring a not for profit Cheyenne Fund so that your contributions will now be tax deductible. A special thanks goes to Georgia from Golden for bringing me some turkey legs and an apple last weekend. Dad put the last one in the freezer and won't let me have it until you come back again. Please hurry back, I've got turkey legs, I mean Georgia on my mind.
This column completes my first year as a columnists for the Mountain Messenger. I really enjoy working with Jo and Jackie. They are some great people. It's too bad they have had to put up with Reno all these years. Excuse me a moment.....Dad just said I have to say something nice about Reno too. OK Reno, you're a nice guy too, even though Dad made me say that. One year, fifty-two columns. How many other wolves can claim that?
This past year has been very special to me. I have now visited with approximately 6200 people from all over the world. While I have totally rejected about 45, with most people I have licked their hands and/or leaned and rubbed against them. There have been 338 visitors that were very special to me. In these people I have recognized the spirit of the wolf and accepted them as part of my permanent pack. One of my newest pack members is Bonnie Williams from Iowa City, Iowa. Welcome Bonnie.
Of all the special things that have happened to me this year I think that what I have enjoyed the most is working as a therapy animal. I have been able to help both the young and old alike. Because of my ability to help others I was the featured guest on a TV program called Mystical Insights hosted by Patricia Richardson. There is currently a TV documentary in the works where they will be discussing some of the things that I have done. It is going to be about a one year project. Also this year Mom started my web site. It now has about 500 pages attached to it. Several poems and a song were written to me and I was in two magazines this year, one as the cover girl for the December issue of Wolf Hybrid Times and an article with pictures was done in a Latvian magazine called Rigas Laiks. Can anyone out there translate Russian for me? It was quite a year.
Hey Reno, now that I have completed a year with you, do I get a paid vacation? Remember, I did say you were a nice guy.
