I have lots of things to share with you this week, so I better get started. Some people didn't believe my editor when he wrote at the end of my column last week that I have a Colorado Working Press Pass. Yes it is true and I will be glad to show it to you. If you write for a paper you can get a pass. There is no discrimination here. I write for the paper and I have a pass. In fact I used it the other day and will soon be reporting on a wolf hybrid seminar given by Darlene Kokobel, founder of the Wolf Rescue Center. I am currently doing some more research because some of the information that she stated as fact does not ring true with me. When I have the true facts I will share them with you.

You may remember that on April 24 my birth mother had a litter of pups. If you are interested in having one of my brothers or sisters or cousins as a companion animal, and IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCED WITH THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL NEEDS AND SPACE REQUIREMENTS OF OWNING A HIGH PERCENTAGE WOLF DOG, then contact Hayes Hideaway Hybrid Sanctuary in Snowflake, Arizona at 520-536-4574. The pups are going for $600.00. There are seven left and they range in color from black to various shades of grey. There are only two males. EGO TRIPPERS NEED NOT APPLY.

As many of you already know, I have met and bonded with over two thousand of the greatest people from all over the world since I started to work for the Gallery. I have received letters, cards, photographs, and e-mail from many of my visitors. I have now made it easier to keep in touch with me by establishing a web site. From my web site you can find out all kinds of information on wolves and wolf dogs. If you have missed some of my previous Howls, they are on my site. I am now connected with several other groups and between all of us I have over 500 pages off of my site. A new organization has just been created composed of dog owners, wolfdog owners and other interested parties in the state of Colorado. It is called Wolf/Dog Education Network or Wolf D.E.N. It emphasizes responsible ownership and breeding of all dogs, including wolfdogs and will represent dog and wolfdog owners in the state so that their voice is heard when legislation and other rules are proposed.
