Fund Raiser Update
This page is for the other adult wolf residents on Goldhill. Click on the pictures for an enhanced view.
Ladyhawke, the beta female, the mother of "The Pups". She came to the Foundation from a home here in Guffey. Her original 'Keeper' was required to move from the high altitude of Guffey for health reasons. Ladyhawke is a very gregarious wolf and loves people.
Merlin The male in the first litter of pup of Ladyhawke and Shone.
Spirit The reluctant ambassador, she has become a bit of a recluse, hanging around her father too much, most likely!
Zoya, part wolf and Siberian husky, came to Goldhill from Kansas on December 5th after a 7-hour journey. A friendly outgoing young lady of two and half years of age, Zoya’s most striking feature is her eyes, one blue and one brown. Zoya was a bit shy on first meeting with me but that well could have been the strange object I held in front of my face (camera). Dianne presented no such impediments and she and Zoya were soon on a first name basis. Zoya’s original caretakers, Lee and Eric, found our sanctuary via our web page and after a phone conversation with Mark, Zoya was on her way. Zoya found herself in conflict with the other residents around her old home just doing what wolves and wolf dogs do best, howl. We can not imagine that as much of a problem but some just don’t appreciate the finer things in life.
