"Message from Cheyenne"

I loved others because I was loved.

I healed others because I was healed.

I was one of the lucky wolves - always cared for, watched over, and even

protected from my own healing zeal

I found my human early in life -

He made it so easy for me to be me.

I always knew that many of my kind lived in fear and strife,

and I was also aware of those that ran free.

But neither of those situations suited me.

I came to awaken the spirit of wolf inside you and me -

The teacher, the healer, that wants to be free.

To cast off the fear that binds us so tight

In order to join our hearts as we howl each night.

I saw all your pain -

And took it away.

I buried your pasts -

So you could come out and play!

While your judgments confused me

I was awed by your hope,

I just kept trying til I knew you could cope.

Deep inside me I wanted you to know -

I loved my rocks

I loved those animal hocks

But most of all I loved the snow!

Life on Earth was meant to be sweet

Filled with unimaginable treats!

But sometimes that means being the boss

Even when that leaves others at a loss.

I offered my life to love that healed

And I believe our love was real!

I really did give it my all!

Now man and wolf can both stand tall!

I know my friend misses me

And I want him to know I'M still at his side

It's now my turn to be his Spirit Guide!

His work is not done

So I promise to send not one

But three little healers to be.

For it will take that many to be as powerful as me!
